Surveys are coming and new finished pages

Hi Backers,

It has been a little over a month since the campaign ended (time has gone by so quickly!) this is how things are going:
 

• More than half of the comic has been illustrated and inked, which means we should be able to share some more content with you soon but for now, have a look at the two new pages at the end of this update. 
• Post-campaign surveys are coming. If you’re a recurring backer you might already know what this means and how it works, but in case you don’t the survey will allow us to gather all the information we need so we can fulfil your rewards when the time comes.

You will receive an email from us with a link to your survey, once again we are using the BackerKit platform to send them out.  It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as possible since we need the information to fulfil your rewards.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill in your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. You’ll be able to answer questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items. Unfortunately, add-ons are not currently available for EU-based backers due to the new EU Tax rules but we are looking into solutions for this.
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts. You will have until Sunday 15th of August to send in your answers.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://kokou.backerkit.com/.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https://kokou.backerkit.com/faq or if you prefer to email us at [email protected]

We are in the final hour of the campaign!

If you're on the fence, now is your time; and if you've already backed, the biggest thank you in the world from everyone here at Kugali. We've cleared the goal by almost $2000, and while the stretch goals are still a ways off we're thrilled to be able to bring this bonzo to life. Kugali family, we hope to make you proud!

APPEAR IN THE KOKOU COMIC??

Hello Backers!

WE DID IT! We are officially 100% funded!

Thank you so much to everyone who backed us and helped share the project, it really means the world that we can keep making amazing bonzo like Kokou!

Now, we sold out of our highest reward tier in the first 2 days of the campaign, but since then we've had some cancellations, so we have THREE REMAINING PLEDGE SLOTS for the grand-prize tier of BECOMING A CHARACTER IN THE COMIC! These are a first-come-first-served basis, so don't hesitate! There are less than 24 hours left in the campaign, so time is limited anyway, but the last time we released these options they went like THAT! *snaps fingers*

The Final Title!

We are now less than £500/$900 from our goal! 

Thanks so much for all the support, it means so much to see so much support for this new style of comic book, and for African creators worldwide. Bonzo is just beginning!

In today's update, we wanted to share the finished, final titling for KOKOU - we heard your votes, and our very own Jasonas (of Nani fame!) created this wonderful word-art! 

Pretty chilling for a single word, huh?

By the time the next update comes out, we should be hitting our goal. There's a lot that can happen in the last few days of the campaign, and remember that if we hit our 20k stretch goal, EVERY HARDBACK COPY gets an improved cover! We've got some very cool examples we'll be able to show you once we hit our goal, so stay tuned!

The LAST $1000!

We are SO close now! Five days to raise $1000... I think we can do that, right?

We've got another new mock-up of the seals activating on Kokou's back - looks pretty painful, but trading pain for power might just be a running theme in this world...

We'll be finalising the titling soon too, expect an update on Monday tomorrow to see the finished version!
